Genre: Drama

"12th Fail" now tops IMDB ratings among Indian movies because of its unbelievable story and phenomenal acting. We are not going to review the movie, but we recommend it to anyone who thinks of giving up on their goal after failing once or twice.
Manoj Kumar Sharma is a guy who was born without any hope in a rural village called Chambal, India. His parents were unable to afford to send him to the highest-rated schools or provide him with the facilities to achieve his dreams.
In India, many childhood dreams die without ever blooming because of poverty and a lack of opportunities. That's how the system works in India, and many Indians accept it, giving up on their dreams and moving away from their paths. But a certain percentage of children try to break the barrier between poverty and a successful life. Manoj was one of those children who had the drive to succeed.
Manoj migrated from his village to Delhi to achieve his goal and joined thousands like him to start a new journey. They get four attempts in the UPSC exam, consisting of three main stages Preliminary, Mains, and Finals. In Manoj’s first attempt, he failed to pass the preliminary exam but he met a nice guy named Gauri. Gauri, a previous UPSC contender, had attempted six times (due to his low caste, he got six chances) but didn't go through.
He encouraged Manoj with one word: "Restart!"
Once you fail, start again! That is a simple concept that needs immense power to turn on! Don’t stop until you succeed. Manoj failed again in his second attempt after reaching the mains. Then, he pressed the restart button. Manoj failed again in the mains! Throughout his journey, Manoj meets some friends: Gauri, Pritam, and his fiancée, Shraddha and is lucky enough to get help from many people.
Restart is just not a word, as already mentioned, this concept needs a huge power to turn on. Manoj always had the motivation with his echoes of hardship, his parent's struggle, the taste of poverty, smell of sweat. He was motivated by the love of his life.
His resilience became extraordinary with his social struggle to survive. The world is not so bad when you are an honest companion and an honest contender as well.
The idea that education is the only way to bring success to life is quite an emotional motivation. Indians believe in God a lot; they believe in various powerful personalities. But many of them forget to believe in their potential. Manoj believed in himself. Be your god and believe in yourself! He tried one last time. Until then, he earned for himself and his family as well. But in his fourth and final attempt at UPSC, he focused solely on his dream, and after all his effort, he achieved his goal. Manoj Kumar Sharma finally became an IPS officer, as a person who came from nowhere!
Every time he failed, he pressed the restart button and started from zero. He had ambition and motivation, and finally, he achieved his goal. There is one essential fact about Manoj. Once he cheated in school and tried to find shorter ways to pass exams. But one moment changed Manoj’s life, and afterwards, he always tried to be honest with himself. Manoj always tried to agree with his heart and do what his heart said to do. At the end of the day, your conscience should remain pure.
So, for anyone who is thinking of giving up on their dreams, spend two and a half hours with this masterpiece. Live with Manoj and feel how hard it is to be successful. Learn how hard the life of a normal human is. This would guide you to restart when you lose.
And, after all, this drama is not a fictional story; Manoj Kumar Sharma is real. Every time he lost hope, he started again from zero.
So, Restart!
